A solution has emerged in the form of “Angst, the Panic Attack,” an immersive virtual reality experience that offers an unfiltered exploration of panic attacks and the relief associated with overcoming them.

The application leverages Core Motion technology to introduce environmental triggers based on the user's head movement, crafting a narrative that unfolds according to the user's gaze. This personalized approach ensures that each individual encounters a uniquely impactful experience.

Far from a conventional film, this interactive 360-degree encounter incorporates state-of-the-art features such as stereoscopic video and spatial audio. Functioning as an empathy-building instrument, it endeavors to enhance understanding of the debilitating nature of panic attacks, particularly prevalent among today's youth. Moreover, it serves as an educational resource for parents and educators striving to assist children grappling with such challenges. Supported by GoogleVR and the Child Mind Institute, this initiative aims to increase awareness surrounding panic attacks.

Synopsis: On the day of a critical science exam, while fellow students chat and ready themselves for the test, you find it arduous even to grasp a pencil. As the examination commences, anxiety and apprehension consume you. The surroundings transform into an onslaught of panic-inducing stimuli, propelling you into an overwhelmingly claustrophobic labyrinth of stressors. Your sole beacon of hope resides in the teacher.
